Yoga. Movement. Practice.

Teaching yoga on the coast of Maine

I’ve always found inspiration in movement; it offers a connection to myself unavailable otherwise. In April 2020 the whole world shifted, and so did something in me. I found my way to a  yoga mat and my life changed forever. Developing a regular yoga practice quieted my mind, it moved me, and became a needed balance to a rigorous professional life. Through this connection to my body I’ve been able to grow my practice, create space within myself, and strengthen physically, mentally, and emotionally. My passion is to share this journey with others through the teachings of yoga, to empower my community to find peace through practice.

I offer a strong yet accessible teaching style that allows you to savor savasana all the more. With a focus on alignment and breath, classes are designed for all levels. I believe yoga is not about looking perfect in a pose but rather finding a path of self-awareness through embodiment and movement.

In addition to my yoga practice, I love being in or on the water. I grew up on the coast of Maine and these experiences have shaped and grounded me all my life. I love living on the water, exploring Maine’s beautiful islands, and being part of this special place that is my home. In Maine's winter months I look forward to snow and the quiet it brings.

  • I have been fortunate to study with incredible teachers, including:

200-Hour YTT from Sundara Yoga with Murielle & Mae Corwin, where I learned the value of community, the importance of practice, and where this incredible journey began.

Art of Stillness Restorative Yoga certification with Margo Rosingana, who shared the importance of blanket folding and the quiet yet powerful benefits of a restorative practice.

Movement Science for Yoga Teachers with Erin Ehlers, who created a space for me to ask questions, meet other teachers, and connect ancient yoga philosophy to a modern practice.

Strength Training with Macky Page, who has empowered me in unexpected ways, taught me to regulate my nervous system by lifting heavy things, and to understand movement in a new way.

And to the many teachers around the world who have held me in my practice, offered a grounding place to re-connect, and shared their wisdom - thank you.

I’m so grateful for this journey.
